XXI Jacques-Louis Lions Hispano-French School on Numerical Simulation in Physics and Engineering

In 1984, the first edition of what has now become a long-standing series of Hispano-French Autumn Schools on Numerical Simulation in Physics and Engineering was held in Santiago de Compostela. These schools have been organized biennially in different Spanish cities. Since its foundation in 1991, SEMA has been actively involved in organizing these schools, which, along with the Congress on Differential Equations and Applications–Congress on Applied Mathematics, represent the two most significant scientific meetings sponsored by the society.

Since 2002, with the incorporation of his name, the Hispano-French School has honored the French mathematician Jacques-Louis Lions.

The next edition will take place from July 7 to 11, 2025, at the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineering of the University of Castilla-La Mancha, on the Ciudad Real campus. This edition will be held in person.
